Food was really good and cheap. We also liked the ambience. Unfortunately, the service was in a pretty bad mood. It seemed to us that she wanted to call it a day ... even though the shop wasn't closing yet. No card payment possible !!

Quaint, lovingly furnished self-service restaurant. Hearty food was prepared quickly. Magnificent view of the Hinterhermsdorf landscape. Recommended stop for hikers to and from the Kirnitzschtal. Unfortunately it closes at 6 p.m.

The mashed potatoes were out of the bag and everything else tasted like finished products. There can be no question of 'freshly cooked' here. Unfriendly staff! We stood in line again at 5:20 p.m. to order another dessert. In front of us there was also a group of 5 people who all wanted to order food. When it was finally their turn at 5:33 p.m., the group and us were told that the kitchen was closed at 5.30 p.m. At 5.45 p.m. we were swept around and the terrace cleared, although it wasn't closed until 6 p.m. and it was still really full! If you have the time, you should go to the village and look for a nice place where hospitality and service are still alive and where it is not just about making money!

The food tastes good and is also brought quickly. However, the staff are apparently anything but committed: One day there were four of us at 5:15 pm after a long hike and waited visibly standing. The waitress seemed to have taken his time pouring beer. When it was our turn it was 17:32. We were only replied that orders are only accepted until 5:30 p.m. Thank you for nothing.

The restaurant is located directly at a large parking lot and at the beginning / end of a hiking trail, so perfect to either strengthen before or after. The staff are friendly and the prices are humane. You can sit outside and have a great view over the countryside.

After trekking, this is a nice place for your reward beer
